Disney Cruise Line is to visit new destinations in Alaska and Europe in summer 2017.

For the first time, Disney Wonder will take guests to Alaska’s Icy Strait Point and Hubbard Glacier as part of a new nine-night itinerary that departs from Vancouver, Canada on 24 July and also takes guests to Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Tracy Arm Fjord. A seven-night Alaska sailing from Vancouver will depart on 17 July and call at Icy Strait Point, Tracy Arm, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchika, while Disney Wonder will sail her first five-night Alaska cruise from Vancouver to Tracy Arm and Ketchikan on 2 August.

While in Icy Strait Point, cruise guests will be able to try one of the longest and highest zip lines in the world, and visit Glacier Bay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Another highlight will include the chance to see Hubbard Glacier, the largest and most active tidewater glacier in North America.

Meanwhile, Disney Fantasy will offer new ten- and 11-night Southern Caribbean itineraries. On 17 June, a new 11-night cruise will take guests to Aruba, Barbados, Martinique, St. Kitts, Tortola and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. This will be followed by a ten-night itinerary on 28 June to Aruba, Curacao, St. Kitts, Tortola and Castaway Cay.

Castaway Cay will also feature more prominently on Disney Dream’s sailings from Port Canaveral. Five-night cruises departing on 2, 11, 16, 25 and 30 June and 9 July will call at Castaway Cay twice and include a stop in Nassau, Bahamas. Disney Dream will also call at Castaway Cay twice as part of her four-night sailings on 7 and 21 June and 5 July.

New European destinations include Amsterdam, Netherlands and Portland, UK. On 13 May, Disney Magic will embark on a 15-night transatlantic crossing from Port Canaveral, Florida to Copenhagen, Denmark. The voyage will include Disney’s inaugural calls in Portland – a short distance from Stonehenge, one of the Seven Wonders of the Medieval World – and Amsterdam.

Disney Magic will also visit Amsterdam as part of a ten-night northern Europe itinerary that departs Copenhagen on 18 June and visits Warnemunde (Berlin), Germany; Stockholm, Sweden; Helsinki, Finland; St. Petersburg, Russia; and Tallinn, Estonia. The cruise finishes in Dover, England.

Disney will also continue to sail to ports in the Baltic, Norwegian fjords, Iceland, British Isles and the Mediterranean this summer.
