Disney's new ships

Disney Cruise Line has always catered to the unique vacation needs of families and is focused on providing a setting where families can reconnect, adults can recharge and kids can immerse themselves in worlds of fantasy only Disney can create. We are very excited that the expansion of our fleet to four ships has enabled us to take families to more destinations around the world than ever before. Our guests are enthusiastic about telling us where they want to go, and their feedback is a significant part of our decision-making process.

Every Disney ship delivers a magical experience for our guests, and we are committed to surprising and delighting our guests on every voyage. Disney built the blueprint for family cruising and delivers a cruise experience that every member of the family feels is designed just for them. Our Walt Disney Imagineers are renowned for immersing families in legendary Disney storytelling in exciting and compelling new ways, both on our ships and on land in our theme parks.

Our two new ships, the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy share many of the same innovative features, including AquaDuck (the world’s first shipboard water coaster), Enchanted Art, Magical Portholes in all inside staterooms, nearly an entire deck of incredible youth spaces, and the Magic PlayFloor – a cruise industry first that blends the latest in gaming technology with Disney’s panache for storytelling. We also have exclusive themed areas for adults, and world-class entertainment for the whole family, featuring Broadway-quality productions and much more.

The Disney Fantasy has a unique identity all its own, including magical new experiences such as ‘Animation Magic’ at Animator’s Palate restaurant where guests’ own drawings dance with Disney characters; our new stage show, ‘Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular’; and the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for princess and pirate makeovers. There is also AquaLab, a brand-new water play area where families can frolic in a fun and fanciful space on the upper deck; The Muppets, a new interactive adventure quest around the ship, via more than a dozen pieces of Enchanted Art and physical clues; and the Europa nighttime entertainment district for adults.

In all our operations, Disney Cruise Line is committed to minimising our impact on the environment, and we have focused our efforts on utilising new technologies and ongoing programmes to increase fuel efficiency, minimise waste and support conservation worldwide.
