Dream Cruises is to make its maiden visits to Belitung, Indonesia and Christmas Island, an Australian territory, as part of her newly revealed summer 2020 itineraries.
Between April and November next year, Genting Dream will homeport in Singapore and offer a series of two, three, four and five-night cruises to ports throughout Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand. During visits to new destination Belitung, guests will be able to head to white sand beaches, while those calling at Christmas Island will have the opportunity to explore deserted beaches, see unique birds and other indigenous wildlife, and more.
Genting Dream will also call at Dream Cruises’ regular ports, such as Palawan in the Philippines; Bintan Island in Indonesia; Koh Samui, Phuket and Laem Chabang in Thailand; and Langkawi, Malacca, Penang, Port Klang, Redang and Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia.
“Since her relocation to Singapore in 2017, Genting Dream has grown from strength to strength offering the citizens of the ‘Lion City’ and tourists even more vacation options with hassle-free cruises to the most popular destinations around Southeast Asia,” said Michael Goh, senior vice president of International Sales at Dream Cruises’ parent company Genting Cruise Lines.
“Having recently celebrated Genting Dream’s one-millionth guest in June 2019, we are upping the stakes next summer in 2020 by introducing new destinations venturing to Christmas Island and Belitung, while retaining our evergreen, popular ports of call in Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines to provide our guests with a well-rounded selection of itineraries to suit all travel tastes.”
