Three Costa Cruises ships are to undergo routine maintenance and renovation work at San Giorgio del Porto shipyard in Genoa, Italy, this November.

The 48,200 gt Costa neoRiviera – which previously sailed as Grand Mistral in the Iberocruceros fleet – arrived at the yard on 7 November and is due to leave on 12 November following renovations to the hull, engine, open-air decks and interior areas.

Costa Voyager also arrived in Genoa on 7 November to undergo routine maintenance work on the engine and hull, while engineers will work on Costa Classica’s hull, engine and hotel sections between 12 November and 21 December.

More than 100 local and international contractors will work on the vessels as part of the €10 million project.
