Ege Port Kuşadası in Ephesus, Turkey is to host the 54th MedCruise General Assembly from 7-10 May 2019.
Operated by Global Ports Holding, Ege Port Kuşadası is one of 70 port members and 33 associate members in the Mediterranean cruise association. During the assembly, members, cruise line executives and international press representatives will head to Ephesus to discuss the latest developments in the worldwide and regional cruise industry. They will also debate the challenges and opportunities facing cruise players in the Mediterranean and its adjoining seas.
“We are very proud to announce that our general assembly will take place on the Eastern Med, a region with a splendid boost on the following seasons,” said Airam Diaz Pastor, president of MedCruise. “Our prestigious 54th General Assembly will be welcomed by the Ege Port Kuşadası, a historical region and a great cruise destination. This major cruise event will have a positive impact not only on the traffic of this area but also on the nearby regions, which is one of the main goals of our association.”
Delegates will also have the opportunity to visit some of the Ephesus’s top tourist attractions, including its blue-flagged beaches, historical sites and the newly renovated Scala Nuova Village, which offers cafés, bars and restaurants that are tailored for the cruise passengers.
