Four cruise ships brought more than 10,000 cruise visitors to St. Kitts in the Caribbean on 9 March.

AIDA Cruises’ AIDAluna, Princess Cruises’ Regal Princess, Seabourn Cruise Line’s Seabourn Odyssey and Royal Caribbean International’s Freedom of the Seas all visited the port in one day.

The 2016-2017 cruise season is expected to break records as St. Kitts is set to handle 391 ship calls and 1.13 million passengers – an increase from 373 calls and 913,716 passengers in 2015-2016. A total of 16 cruise ships will make maiden calls in 2017.

“The entire nation stands ready to welcome our guests to St. Kitts,” said Lindsay Grant, Minister of Tourism in St. Kitts. “The increase in cruise arrivals is a clear indication that our unique attractions and experiences, tours and services are in high demand.”
