Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines guests will be able to attend the 2015 Monaco Grand Prix as part of Boudicca’s Film Stars & Fast Cars itinerary next May.

Guests sailing on the 15-night voyage, which starts in the UK port of Dover on 16 May 2015, will be able to choose between two tour packages to see double World Champion Lewis Hamilton defend his title. One package enables guests to sit in Grandstand K, which stretches from Tabac to the Swimming Pool section of the circuit, offering a view of the Tunnel Exit. Alternatively, guests can opt to sit in Grandstand T, which is located in Monaco Harbour in front of the pits and offers a view of the straight section after the Swimming Pool Complex.

Prices for the ‘Cruise & Grand Prix’ packages include en-suite accommodation, all meals and beverages, evening entertainment, daytime activities, onboard leisure facilities, return coach transfers from Nice to Monaco and transfers to the Grand Prix entrance gates.

In addition to Monanco, Boudicca will visit many French and Spanish cities that have been used as backdrops to Hollywood films. First, the ship will call at the Spanish cities of Cádiz and Almeria, where guests will have the opportunity to visit the mini-Hollywood film set used as a location backdrop for many western films. Guests will experience a mock ‘bank raid’ and a re-enactment of the final dramatic moments of American outlaw Jesse James.

Boudicca will then head to Cannes on the French Riviera, during a visit that coincides with the Cannes Film Festival. The vessel will then sail to the French port of Nice, before heading to the Spanish port of Barcelona to enable guests to visit Gaudi’s buildings. Guests will then enjoy a final call in Malaga, Spain, enabling them to visit the birthplace of Picasso, the Alhambra Palace in Granada, or the Andalusian countryside.
