Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ 880-guest Boudicca started its fourth season from Liverpool Cruise Terminal in the UK on 5 May.
Opening with a nine-night sailing to the Norwegian fjords, the ship will offer a total of 16 voyages from Liverpool’s Pier Head in 2016, an increase from 15 in 2015. Itineraries will take guests to destinations in Canada, the Adriatic, Scotland, the Canary Islands and Greenland.
Fred. Olsen will also make four transit calls in the UK city this year.
“The popularity of our sailings from this vibrant city has grown significantly, and it is rewarding to see that cruising with Fred. Olsen is now well-established as the ‘holiday of choice’ in the minds of so many local people,” said Nathan Philpot, sales and marketing director for Fred. Olsen. “With its stunning vistas and proud maritime heritage, there is something very special about cruising from Liverpool, and it is a tremendous benefit to be able to offer our guests the chance to set sail from the world-famous Pier Head.”
Boudicca's 2016 cruise season in Liverpool will be interspersed with two calls in Greenock, Scotland in July, and two in Belfast, Northern Ireland in July and August 2016.
