Fredericia in Denmark has become the 28th member of the Cruise Baltic association.
The city, which has a 350m cruise pier, welcomed its first cruise ship call in August 2014.
“We have experienced two successful seasons as a cruise destination and through knowledge sharing with the network members we are looking forward to developing our destination even more in an ongoing process,” said Gry Klok Thomsen, cruise business mananager at Cruise Fredericia.
“We also hope to contribute to Cruise Baltic with experience gained from our recent work in establishing not only a close cooperation with the attractions and the city of Fredericia, but also the public in our region, all having played an important part in Cruise Fredericia’s success so far.”
Initially formed in 2004 with 12 destinations, Cruise Baltic is a network of cruise destinations in the Baltic Sea offering easy access to ten countries.
