Elite Exhibitions has released the full programme for its co-located Cruise Ship Interiors Expo America and Cruise Ship Hospitality Expo America shows, which will take place in Miami, Florida this November.
Ahead of the start of the shows, the Reunion Party, hosted by MJM Marine and Mivan, will take place on 9 November at the ballroom in Miami Beach Convention Center. Based around the theme of ‘the five senses,’ the part is intended to give the global interiors and hospitality cruise community the chance to meet face-to-face for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.
Day one of the conference will begin at 9am on 10 November with the invitation-only Newcomers’ Breakfast, while the following day will begin with the Founding Partners’ Breakfast.
At the Cruise Conversations Live event, the keynote speech for day one will be titled ‘Design Leadership: We are One Cruise Industry’ and feature comments from Greg Walton, founding partner of design firm Studio DADO, and Petu Kummula, senior director of interior design and architecture at Carnival Cruise Line. They will explore how challenging times can create opportunity for collaboration and innovation.
Day two, meanwhile, will offer a session on ‘The Business Case for Sustainability,’ with speakers including Alexander Zeitz of Virgin Voyages, Yohandel Ruiz of Studio DADO, My Nguyen of Holland America Group, Paris Swann of Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean, and Bergen Hubert of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute.
All attendees will also be invited to the Happy Hour party, sponsored by Cambria, Vistona and Eumar Design and taking place at the end of day one on the show floor. The celebrations will continue with an exclusive Advisory Board Dinner and invitation-only after party, taking place in a secret location.
Cruise Ship Interiors Expo America and Cruise Ship Hospitality Expo America will with the Recruitment Hour. At 3pm, recruiters from cruise lines such as Carnival Cruise Lines and Virgin Voyages will be in the hall and ready to help cruise industry professionals restart their careers.
