Dream Cruises’ Genting Dream is to sail to Naha and Miyakojima in Okinawa, Japan this summer.
Genting Dream will begin her five-night departures to Okinawa from her dual homeports of Hong Kong and Nansha, Guangzhou on 2 April.
As part of the ‘Journey to the Island Gems of Japan’ voyages, the ship will take guests to Naha, where they can visit restaurants, bars, shops and Shuri-jō, a restored castle that was once the home of Ryūkyū royalty and a UNESCO World heritage site. Meanwhile in Miyakojima, which is the main island in the Miyako group, offers white sand beaches and clear waters.
Genting Dream will also sail two-night weekend cruises from Hong Kong, taking guests to the South China Seas.
“We are delighted to introduce Genting Dream’s first Summer Cruise Season which also marks her maiden cruise to Okinawa, Japan.” said Thatcher Brown, president of Dream Cruises. “With the success of our current Vietnam cruises, we are further developing exhilarating itineraries that will capture the beauty and diversity of Asia and excite the passions of our guests. With pristine beaches, crystal clear water and myriad cultural and historic attractions, Okinawa Japan is a natural and popular choice for Genting Dream this summer.”
