After a year in which the passenger shipping industry overcame enormous challenges to return to sailing, we would like to celebrate the inspiring achievements, passion and spirit that have helped to bring the sector through difficult times and given hope for its future success.
Over the past 12 months we’ve brought you a wide range of news on our website and published four magazines – the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter issues of Cruise & Ferry Review and our annuals, Cruise & Ferry Interiors and Cruise & Ferry Itinerary Planning. We hope you have enjoyed reading about the cruise lines, ferry operators, ports and destinations and many other stakeholders who have shared their news and insights with us.

We were privileged to speak with multiple executives from major cruise companies this year, including outgoing chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group Richard Fain, who discussed the company’s strong return to service, and Carnival Corporation’s president and CEO Arnold Donald, who explained how the company and its brands are working to emerge from Covid-19 stronger than ever.
Other key highlights have included cover stories focusing on how MSC Cruises is tackling the challenge of designing the interiors of a series of new ships and the importance of port development and partnerships in the long-term success of the industry.
