Royal Caribbean International’s newest ship, Harmony of the Seas, departed on her inaugural cruise from her summer homeport of Barcelona, Spain this week.
Following her first repositioning cruise from Southampton, UK, the world’s largest cruise ship will take guests on an exclusive five-night Western Mediterranean itinerary with visits to Rome and Naples, Italy.
Throughout the summer, Harmony of the Seas will operate seven-night Western Mediterranean itineraries to ports in Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Marseilles, France; Florence, Rome and Naples, Italy. The ship will reposition to her permanent Port Everglades homeport in Florida, US.
Harmony of the Seas features Royal Caribbean’s seven-neighbourhood concept; the Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea with a ten-storey drop; robot bartenders at The Bionic Bar; interior staterooms with virtual balconies that provide real-time views of the destinations; and VOOM – the fastest internet at sea.
