Hurtigruten Expeditions is to offer more than 150 different itineraries across five continents during 2023-2024.
The season will feature the widest selection of itineraries in Hurtigruten’s history. Among the new voyages will be four different, year-round itineraries in the Galápagos Islands sailed by the newly renovated Santa Cruz II in collaboration with Ecuadorian travel company Metropolitan Touring.
The cruise line will also offer year-round cruises to Norway and the Arctic from Hamburg, Germany, and Dover, UK, as well as 34 different Antarctica departures ranging from 12 to 23 days in length. A series of Pole-to-Pole expedition cruises will sail from the Arctic to Antarctica over 66-94 days.
“We are thrilled to offer the greatest ever selection of adventure travel opportunities covering some of the most extraordinary areas of our planet,” said Asta Lassesen, CEO of Hurtigruten Expeditions. “This broad offering of unique small-ship expedition cruises is perfect for modern adventure travellers looking for one-of-a-kind experiences while exploring with authenticity, learning and sustainability at the core.”
Hurtigruten will also be expanding its expedition team onboard all its ships ahead of the 2023-2024 season, increasing the range of activities available to guests during voyages.
“Great will get even better,” said Lassesen. “Sharing passion, knowledge, and expertise of the areas we explore, is the core of the Hurtigruten Expeditions experience. Bigger expedition teams mean more of everything – more experts, more knowledge, more activities, and more options for our guests.”
