iJento has provided its customer intelligence solutions to an undisclosed major cruise line, enabling it to optimise marketing opportunities, shorten the purchase cycle and enhance the customer experience.

iJento’s customer intelligence solutions allow cruise lines to integrate information about customers’ online and offline visits across all devices and channels to develop a full customer profile, known as the customer DNA.

By using the solution, the company can predict customer purchasing habits and identify which marketing strategies lead to the highest rates of customer conversion and retention.

“A complex customer buying journey – which may start with a 30-second TV spot, followed by website visits and video views, and then conclude with an agent call after six to eight weeks of online research, must be stitched together before it can mean anything,” said Peter Ryan, chief executive of iJento. “iJento can help simplify these interactions so a clear behavioural pattern emerges that can then be quickly acted upon to improve marketing results."
