IMPA London will take place at the QEII Centre in London, UK, from 10-11 September 2024.

The event will bring together decision-makers from shipowners and operators with maritime suppliers and manufacturers from over 70 countries for a comprehensive programme of presentations and discussions, as well as networking opportunities. More than 100 exhibitors will also showcase products and services.

The programme includes two debates around maritime sustainability and supply chain management, with each session beginning with a short summary overview of the key issues and topics that will form the basis of the panel discussion. These sessions, which will include audience and pre-prepared questions, will be livestreamed globally to International Marine Purchasing Association members and the industry. IMPA members or purchaser/IMPA SAVE pledgers can attend for free.

New for 2024, the IMPA Events VIP Service includes access to services designed to enhance the attendee’s experience, from private meeting rooms to airport transfers. Organisers hope these additional services will alleviate stress to allow attendees to focus on business-specific activities and networking.

Also new for this year, the event is hosting a number of private 20-minute clinic sessions for members and visitors to ‘ask the expert’ and discuss business face-to-face. Key stakeholders within the IMPA community will be available for these sessions, which will cover topical and relevant issues, such as sustainability and the latest processes and principles in supply chain management.

The exhibitor, sponsor and IMPA members’ Lounge and VIP Concierge Service will be operational from 7am until the close of the event each day in order to facilitate multiple private meetings. The lounge will be managed by professional staff who will cater to members’ needs.

The Innovation Zone returns for 2024 to showcase an array of companies offering insights and predictions about the future of the industry. Organisers hope the zone will be full of “fresh ideas, revolutionary trends and cutting-edge technologies”.

“This flagship event attracts visitors from more than 70 countries every year, so we want to focus on providing a programme that involves every one of those attendees, continuing to offer maximum value to all our stakeholders,” said Dom Scott, head of marketing and digital at IMPA, which also runs annual events in Las Palmas, Gran Caneria; Singapore; Athens, Greece; and Hamburg, Germany.
