Global travel technology provider InterGlobe Technologies (IGT) has made a number of enhancements to its range of cruise, transport and hospitality industry solutions, aimed at enriching the passenger experience and delivering specialised process support and expertise.
Highlights include integrating technologies like smart drones, social media analytics and integrated IT and business process management (BPM) for onboard and onshore operations.
Its enhanced offerings will enable cruise liners to effectively manage passenger and crew handling, and optimise big data and inventory control.
“Our focus is to provide advanced solutions, with integrated IT-BPM services, tailored for our cruise industry and offshore shipping customers,” said Vipul Doshi, CEO at IGT. “We work with some of the largest cruise operators and our continuous effort is to propel a strong partnership both in building world-class cruise experience and in their operations management.”
IGT has been working in the travel industry for over 15 years, and works with two of the world’s biggest cruise liners, among others. By strengthening its service delivery, the company plans to target some of the industry’s most critical areas such as customer experience, big data, business intelligence, social media and analytics.
The company also recently expanded its global operations by opening its eleventh global delivery centre in Manila, Philippines earlier this month.
