Pandaw River Expeditions’ latest newbuild, Kalaw Pandaw, has entered final outfitting stages after launching on 2 January in Yangon, Myanmar.
Built over three months with a draft of 80 centimetres, the K-class vessel feature two decks of 20 deluxe staterooms and a choice of indoor or outdoor bistro-style dining venues. The ship has been designed to enable cruise passengers to tour the country’s less commercial waters, such as the Chindwin and Irrawaddy rivers.
The final outfitting stages are scheduled for completion in May 2014, while the vessel will become operational in July.
Kalaw’s sister ship, the Kindat Pandaw will be launched from the same yard in three weeks.
