The French cruise port of Le Havre expects to handle 122 calls and 250,000 passengers this year, handling 28 of these ships in May alone.
August and September are also set to be busy months, with 19 and 25 calls respectively, while 20 partial turnarounds are also planned. In addition, Le Havre is set to handle two ships simultaneously on 24 occasions, three ships a day on six occasions and four ships on 16 September.
Many of these visits will be made by le Havre’s regular visitors including AIDA Cruises (34 calls), MSC Cruises (19), Princess Cruises (13), Celebrity Cruises (9), Royal Caribbean International (8) and TUI Cruises (7). The port will also welcome inaugural calls from Princess’ Royal Princess and Ruby Princess, as well as Seabourn Cruises’ Seabourn Legend, Louis Cruises’ Louis Aura, TUI’s Mein Schiff 3 and Swan Hellenic Cruises’ Minerva.
