French cruise port will host 31.5% more calls than in 2015, as well as 25% more passengers

Le Havre expects to host 125 cruise calls in 2016, a 31.5% increase from the 95 it handled in 2015.
Next year, the French port is set to welcome 21 double calls, two triple calls, three overnights and ten inaugural visits. This is expected to bring around 280,000 passengers – a rise of 25% from 2015 – and 100,000 crew members.
Newcomers will include Royal Caribbean International’s Ovation of the Seas, AIDA Cruises’ AIDAprima, Viking Cruises’ Viking Sea and Holland America Line’s Koningsdam, which will call on 19 April, 3 May, 4 May and 18 May respectively. Other maiden visits will be made by National Geographic’ Orion on 4 June, Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Magic on 15 June, TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 5 on 31 August, Pullmantur’s Monarch (on 15 September, Phoenix Resien’s Amadea on 20 September and Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Star on 3 October.
