The French port welcomed ships from AIDA Cruises, Princess Cruises, Saga Cruises, Oceania Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Viking Cruises, TUI Cruises and Costa Cruises.

Oceania Cruises’ Sirena made turnaround calls on 6 and 7 August, marking the first time the ship had visited Le Havre. Local authorities met Captain Giulio Ressa to mark the occasion with a plaque exchange ceremony.

Saga Cruises’ Saga Pearl II also made a maiden call on 29 August, hosting a plaque exchange ceremony with Captain Nicholas Sunderland, Le Havre’s port captain Patrick Abjean and Jean-Baptiste Gastinne, president of the Le Havre Cruise Club.

TUI Cruises’ new Mein Schiff 5 closed August with an inaugural call. Captain Todd Burgman invited local representatives onboard and was presented with a medal of the port of Le Havre engraved with his name and a traditional plate. Gilbert Conan, vice president of Le Havre Agglomeration also handed him a metal representation of the skyline of Le Havre.
