Lisbon Cruise Port has hosted 13 calls in September, with over 15,000 passengers passing through the port.
The cruise port serves as both a turnaround and transit port and has required all ships to comply with new health and safety protocols drawn up to prevent the spread of infection after it resumed operations in July.
A further 45 calls and 45,000 passengers are expected at the port during October, reaching 88 per cent of the levels seen in the same month in 2019.
