Marella Cruises is to homeport in the US for the first time in summer 2021, offering four new itineraries from Port Canaveral in Florida.
Marella Discovery will make a total of 11 maiden calls over the season, visiting the ports of Canaveral, Key West, Miami, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Charleston, South Carolina; New York; Norfolk, Virginia; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Freeport and Nassau, The Bahamas.
The vessel will sail ‘Floridian Favourites’ cruises with an overnight in Tampa, as well as ‘American Dream’ and ‘Big Apple Adventure’ itineraries, which both feature an overnight in New York. She will also offer a series of ‘Sunshine States and Sands’ voyages to beach destinations like Miami and Grand Turk.
Marella Discovery will also offer a 12-night ‘Sunshine and Jazz’ repositioning cruise to New Orleans, where guests will be able to spend three days exploring the city.

Offering our customers more choice and flexibility is at the heart of what we do, which is why customers will also benefit from regional flights from five airports.”
All guests will have the option to select a ‘cruise and stay’ package to extend their cruise with a few days onshore in Orlando, Florida.
