German kitchen manufacturer recognised for efforts to improve efficiency in professional kitchens

Germany-based kitchenware manufacturer MKN has won an Asian Catering Equipment (ACE) Award for its MKN FlexiCombi steamer.
ACE Awards recognise manufacturers and designers in the foodservice equipment industry whose products have improved efficiency in professional kitchens and who are committed to reducing the environmental impact of their operations.
The MKN FlexiCombi cooking appliance, which has an automatic cleaning system and can be used onboard passenger vessels, has been named a winner in the ‘Heavy Labour Saving’ category due to its GreenInside energy consumption display and other energy-saving features such as triple glazing and heat exchanger.
The ACE Award ceremony will be hosted by Hofex Hong Kong and the Foodservice Consultants Society International at the Hofex exhibition in Hong Kong this May.
