MSC Cruises’ 2024-2025 winter season in the Caribbean has begun with the arrivals of MSC Divina and MSC Seaside at PortMiami in Florida. Every itinerary will include a call to the cruise line’s private island, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas.
Homeporting in Miami, MSC Divina will operate three- and four-night itineraries to Ocean Cay and Nassau in The Bahamas. The ship will also sail several 10-night cruises calling at ports in Jamaica, Aruba, Curacao, Dominican Republic and The Bahamas. It will also offer a 14-night itinerary calling at Nassau.
MSC Seaside will sail seven-night Sunday departures to the Eastern Caribbean, calling at Ocean Cay and Nassau, San Juan in Puerto Rico, and Puerto Plata in Dominican Republic. Western Caribbean itineraries include port calls in Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico, either Isla de Roatan in Honduras or Belize City in Belize, and Ocean Cay.
MSC Seaside will spend the winter season sailing Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries
The ships will be joined in Miami by MSC Cruises’ 5,877-passenger Seaside EVO-class cruise ship, MSC Seascape. The ship will offer seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, visiting Ocean Cay as well as ports in The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico and the Cayman Islands.
“MSC Divina, MSC Seascape and MSC Seaside are not only fan favourites but also highly competitive ships in the US market,” said Lynn Torrent, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at MSC Cruises USA. “With three exceptional ships and an expanded selection of itineraries in Miami, we are providing guests with more opportunities than ever to explore the Caribbean in unparalleled style.”

“All three ships feature extraordinary dining, top-tier entertainment, and immersive experiences tailored to each guest’s unique preferences, regardless of the cruise length,” said Neil Palomba, executive vice president at MSC Cruises USA. “For both the quick getaway and the extended vacation, or something in between, we ensure an unsurpassed experience from the moment guests step onboard.”
MSC World America, the cruise line’s newest flagship, will be christened in April 2025 at MSC Cruises’ new terminal at PortMiami, which the cruise line claims will be the largest cruise terminal in the world due to its capacity to handle up to 36,000 guests per day. The ship will then spend its inaugural season sailing seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from the Florida port.
