MSC Divina has become the first MSC Cruises’ ship to sail year-round from North America after arriving in her new PortMiami homeport on 19 November.
The vessel was escorted into PortMiami by a fleet of high-powered Rosso Brillante Fiat 500 watercraft after concluding her 18-night transatlantic crossing from Venice, Italy.
“With MSC Divina’s debut, we are thrilled to welcome one of our finest and most innovative vessels to North America,” said Richard Sasso, president and CEO of MSC Cruises USA. “Today marks an important milestone for MSC Cruises as we continue to grow in this region, offering more destinations and appealing to wider audiences. We look forward to offering North American cruisers something new and fresh.”
MSC Divina will have a range of new dining venues including two Eataly restaurants – the 30-seat Ristorante Italia and the 115-seat Eataly Steakhouse – as well as a Venchi-branded gelateria and Ferrero’s Nutella Corner. The vessel will feature the MSC Yacht Club, which offer passengers a variety of complimentary services such as a personal butler and a 24-hour concierge service. She will also be the first to offer ‘Aqua Cycling at sea’.
