MSC Cruises’ flagship MSC Virtuosa has arrived in Southampton, UK to prepare for her maiden voyage around the British Isles, which will start on 20 May.

MSC Virtuosa will be the line’s third ship to sail cruises since the start of Covid-19 pandemic (MSC Seaside and MSC Grandiosa are both operating in the Mediterranean) and will homeport in Southampton for the summer. The ship will initially depart from City Cruise Terminal but will reposition to the new Horizon Cruise Terminal when it opens this summer.

“The arrival of our flagship MSC Virtuosa into Southampton today is an exciting moment, as we prepare to welcome UK guests back onboard from 20 May for her inaugural season around the British Isles,” said Antonio Paradiso, UK managing director. “We are proud to be the first cruise line to set sail from UK waters this summer and offer holidaymakers the chance to experience all of the new and incredible features onboard our latest and most innovative ship.”
