MSC Cruises’ MSC Musica marked its inaugural visit to the French port of Le Havre on 22 April 2013 with an onboard plaque exchange ceremony.
During the onboard ceremony, Gérard Vastra, deputy harbour master of Le Havre, presented Captain Raffaelo Musso with a plaque and a medal on behalf of the port authority.
Agnès Firmin le Bodo, deputy mayor of tourism in Le Havre and president of the Cruise Club, also gave a speech highlighting the partnership between MSC and the port. The cruise line will call at Le Havre 14 times in 2013, with MSC Opera interporting 8 times with passengers bound for Netherlands, England, Spain and Portugal.
Le Havre is scheduled to receive 125 calls during the 2013 cruise season and will host the Cruise Europe Conference from 23-25 April.
