Celebrity Cruises has revealed its 2014 UK itineraries.

“The 2014 summer season sees the UK playing host to two of the six Celebrity Cruises ships based in Europe plus new additions to the sailings, including more overnight stays, allowing guests to experience the local nightlife and explore the regions more fully,” said Jo Rzymowska, associate vice president and general manager of Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises – UK and Ireland.

Celebrity Eclipse will return to its summer homeport of Southampton for its fifth season and will offer a new ten-night itinerary to Spain and the Canary Islands, as well as 14-night trips to the Canaries and the Azores.

In addition, it will sail on 14-night cruises to the Mediterranean, which feature visits to the ports of Rome, Malaga in Spain and Lisbon in Portugal. Celebrity Eclipse will also provide an eight-night Norwegian Fjords itinerary with calls in Bergen, Flam and Geiranger, and a 14-night Scandinavia and Russia cruise, which calls at Le Havre on the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy

Celebrity Infinity will homeport from Harwich again during the 2014 season, repeating its popular 12-night European Immersive Wine Cruises for the third consecutive year. The vessel will also offer a new itinerary for 2014, featuring an overnight in La Rochelle, France, as well as a series of 14-night Iceland and Fjords cruises, an 11-night British Isles cruise and a 14-night British Isles cruise, with an overnight stay in Dublin, Ireland.

Passengers travelling on the two ships can visit the onboard Elemis AquaSpa, the Celebrity iLounge internet café, the restaurant Blu, an ice-topped Martini Bar and the award-winning Qsine restaurant.

“Our 2014 UK departures set the bar high when it comes to offering a modern luxury holiday without the hassle of flying and we are pleased to continue to offer our guests new and exciting destinations,” added Rzymowska.
