Condor Ferries’ latest fast-ferry, Condor Liberation, is to debut on the route between the Channel Islands and Poole in the UK later this month.

Condor Liberation’s name, which was chosen by Clive and Julie Davies as part of a competition, recognises the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Channel Islands.

The ferry will feature the Ocean Club Lounge, which is located in a private lounge area with leather reclining seats and tables. The lounge will offer an at-seat steward service, an exclusive menu, complimentary drinks and snacks, and power supply points next to every seat. Guests will also be able to access free wifi for part of the journey.

Other new areas include the Island Bar, which will offer a variety of hot and cold food and beverages, and a new duty-free shop called Adore. The shop will feature a wide range of wines, spirits, fashion accessories, watches, fragrances, cosmetics and gadgets.

“We’re very excited to be able to give a small glimpse at what Condor Liberation will look like onboard,” said Alicia Andrews, executive commercial director at Condor Ferries. “A lot of research and planning has gone into Condor Liberation’s seating and facilities to ensure we’re able to offer the best onboard experience possible. Her fit-out is not far off completion now – it is really great to see everyone’s hard work paying off with the end result in sight.”
