Managing director and owner of Bolt Consulting Bo-Lennart Thorbjörnsson has teamed up with long-time friend and former managing director of KVSA from Halverhout & Zwart and Zurmühlen Frans Baud to launch the new annual Ferry Shipping Summit.
Aimed at operators, port authorities, managers and suppliers in the ferry industry, the Ferry Shipping Summit will offer a conference programme that focuses on how operators can capitalise on new opportunities and which solutions they can implement to enhance their commercial performance. Delegates will be able to hear from key industry experts during presentations and panels. Attendees will also be able to network and exchange ideas with industry colleagues.
The first Ferry Shipping Summit will be held 21-22 March 2018 in Amsterdam, Netherlands and will be themed ‘It’s time for change’. It will welcome around 150-200 delegates.
“The Ferry Shipping Summit is committed to meet the needs of today´s time pressured industry leaders and is being organised by a team of knowledgeable ferry industry experts with many years of commercial and operational experience at executive level within the ferry shipping industry,” said Thorbjörnsson. “The theme has high resonance for the industry as the winds of economic, geopolitical, technical and digital change sweep across Europe with impacts for passenger and freight activities. If we do not change and develop constantly we will fall behind and might lose our business. Our goal is to deliver conference content that helps improve customer loyalty, business profitability and sustainability.”
