Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Millennium has emerged from drydock with the same enhancements that were recently added to Celebrity Summit and Celebrity Infinity.

In drydock from 26 April to 12 May, the 2,138-guest vessel now features a new enclosed portrait studio; a refreshed Solarium with new furniture, floors and refinished pool tops; maritime artifacts display area in the casino’s entry vestibule; an updated spa café; and a redecorated casino. Penthouse and Royal Suites received new fixtures, marble surfaces and comfortable seats in the bathrooms, as well as fresh carpet, drapes and bed linens in the bedrooms.

In addition, Celebrity Millennium’s Olympic restaurant has been converted to Tuscan Grille, the Italian-inspired steakhouse that debuted on the line’s Solstice Class ships. The venue will offer a refreshed food menu, an Italian cocktail menu and wine list focused on the wine-growing regions of Italy.

A further highlight will the Rooftop Terrace on deck 12, which features a large screen, chaise lounges, cabanas, soundscape and decorative lighting. The venue provides a backdrop for Celebrity’s new multi-sensory experience, ‘A Taste of Film’, which pairs films that evoke a specific cultural, culinary or destination experience, with multi-course tasting menus designed by Michelin-starred chef Cornelius Gallagher and his team.

“We are beyond thrilled that Celebrity Millennium will be even more stunning than ever before as a result of the US$8 million that we’re investing in this drydock,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO of Celebrity Cruises. “We have added new elements and experiences that will help open up the world for modern luxury travellers, from our gorgeously updated Suite Class staterooms onboard, to the amazingly delicious Tuscan Grille menu, and, of course, the new Rooftop Terrace.”

This summer, Celebrity Millennium will sail a series of itineraries between Vancouver in British Columbia and Seward in Alaska, before heading to Asia in September for her winter season.
