Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Escape and Norwegian Dawn are to make their European debut in summer 2020, while Norwegian Pearl and Norwegian Encore will both sail inaugural seasons from New York, US.

For the first time, Norwegian Dawn will begin sailing seven- to 11-day Greek Isles cruises from Venice, Italy on 15 May and call at multiple Mediterranean cities including Kotor, Montenegro; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Corfu, Santorini and Mykonos, Greece. Norwegian Getaway will also offer 10- and 11-day cruises from Venice to the Greek Isles, as well as similar length voyages from Rome to other Italian destinations.

Meanwhile, Norwegian Escape will become one of Norwegian’s newest and largest ships to homeport in Europe when she begins offering nine-day cruises from Copenhagen, Denmark on 29 May. Voyages will include calls at Warnemünde, Germany; Tallinn, Estonia, Helsinki, Finland; Stockholm, Sweden; and an overnight in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Norwegian Epic will also be in Europe for summer 2020.

Sailing from New York for the first time on 22 April, Norwegian Encore will provide seven-day voyages that include three days in Bermuda. Norwegian Gem will also offer cruises of the same length to Bermuda from her homeport in Boston, Massachusetts.

Norwegian Pearl will also begin her first deployment from New York on 23 May, offering seven- and 11-day itineraries to Canada and New England. The ship will call at Halifax, Nova Scotia; Saint John, New Brunswick; Bar Harbor and Portland, Maine; and Newport, Rhode Island. Plus, she will sail seven-day cruises to Bahamas and Florida, which will include calls at Port Canaveral, Florida; and Nassau and Norwegian’s private island Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.

Returning to Miami on 23 April, Norwegian Breakaway will offer five- and seven-day cruises to destinations in the Western Caribbean, including Roatan and Bay Islands, Honduras; Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico; and the resort-style island of Harvest Caye in Southern Belize. The vessel will also sail three- and four-day cruises to the Bahamas, calling at Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay.

Norwegian will also base three vessels in Alaska. Sister ships Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Bliss will provide seven-day cruises from Seattle, Washington from early May. The former will visit Holkham Bay, Icy Strait Point, Juneau and Ketchikan in Alaska, as well as Victoria, British Columbia. The latter will call at Glacier Bay, Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Victoria. Norwegian Jewel will return to Vancouver, British Columbia and Seward, Alaska to sail her popular seven-day ‘Glacier Bay Northbound’ and ‘Inside Passage’ itineraries.

“We’re proud of the itineraries we’ve carefully curated for our guests, which allow them to experience some of the most sought-after destinations around the globe,” said Andy Stuart, president and CEO of Norwegian. “Summer 2020 is especially exciting as our Breakaway-Plus class will be making waves all over the world, from Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Bliss in Alaska, to Norwegian Encore in Bermuda and Norwegian Escape’s debut in Europe as our newest ship in the region.”
