Oceania Cruises’ five-ship fleet is to visit 12 new ports of call during the 2015-2016 winter season.
Featuring longer, destination-rich itineraries Oceania Cruises’ Winter Collection will include two Amazon River voyages in South America, six transits of the Panama Canal, a roundtrip Cape Town sailing exploring the southern tip of Africa and multiple overnight stays in various Asian destinations. Of the total 42 itineraries, 32 voyages last for more than two weeks or longer.
Three of the line’s ships will operate in Asia and the South Pacific this winter, visiting new destinations such as Boracay Island, Philippines; Sanya, China; Shimizu, Japan; Jeju, South Korea; the island of Saint Helena in the South Atlantic Ocean; Raroia, French Polynesia; and Luderitz, Namibia. The ships will also make maiden calls at several Australian destinations including Cooktown, Eden, Newcastle and Norfolk Island, as well as Gisborne in New Zealand.
In winter 2015-2016, Riviera will sail seven- to 14-day Caribbean itineraries, splitting her time between the eastern and western Caribbean. She will also offer a 12-day holiday cruise that visits St. Barts, Martinique, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, Grenada and Puerto Rico.
Meanwhile, Insignia will depart from PortMiami on 4 January 2016 to offer an Around the World in 180 Days voyage
Marina opens the season with back-to-back South American voyages that will explore Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. The vessel will then set sail for the South Pacific with seven unique itineraries exploring several ports in French Polynesia, Fuji, Samoa Islands, Australia and New Zealand.
Sailing in North, South and Central America, Regatta will visit countries such as Brazil, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica and Argentina, as well as some Caribbean ports. Two of the ship’s itineraries will explore the Amazon river, while four voyages will traverse the Panama Canal. Heading up to the Pacific Northwest, Regatta will then spend her summer season in Alaska.
Nautica will be based in Asia and South Africa to offer eight itineraries – including six new routes in the region – and overnight in destinations such as Singapore; Bangkok, Thailand; Ho Chi Minh Citya and Ha Long Bay, Vietnam; Shanghai and Beijing in China; Tokyo, Japan; Cape Town, South Africa; Walvis Bay in Namibia; and more. The schedule also includes a 35-day voyage from Hong Kong to Istanbul that traverses the Suez Canal in Egypt.
