Oceania Cruises’ ship Riviera will be sailing in Asia for the first time in 2024, travelling to Arabia, India, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Riviera, which underwent a bow-to-stern renovation in 2022, will offer 25 voyages with itineraries ranging from 10 to 82 days in length. Some of the ports include Cochin, India; Yangon, Myanmar; Busan, South Korea; and Phuket and Bangkok in Thailand.
One highlight of the season will be the 72-day ‘Epic Eastern Explorer’ itinerary, which will depart Mumbai India, in January 2024 and conclude in Tokyo, Japan. The trip will feature overnight stays in multiple countries in East Asia.
In March and April 2024, Riviera will be departing for 12-day ‘Land of the Rising Sun’ roundtrips from Tokyo, Japan. The ship will explore destinations in Japan including Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Beppu, Hiroshima and Kyoto. “The decision to move Riviera to Asia was easy; demand for our Exotics collection is very strong with our well-travelled guests longing to visit remote, wondrous destinations for off-the-beaten-path experiences,” said Frank A. Oceania’s other ships, Regatta and Nautica, will be expanding the line’s offerings in the South Pacific with new opportunities in New Zealand, Australia and French Polynesia.
