Oceania Cruises is to bring its newest ship, Allura, into service one week earlier than scheduled.

The ship’s inaugural voyage will now depart from Trieste, Italy on 18 July 2025, sailing for six days to Athens, Greece, with calls at Rijeka and Dubrovnik in Croatia, Ravenna in Italy and Kotor in Montenegro.

Allura will spend the rest of summer 2025 in the Mediterranean following her inaugural voyage, before sailing to the East Coast of North America for a series of cruises visiting destinations in Canada and New England. These will include a newly introduced ‘Taste of Oceania Cruises’ itinerary, sailing roundtrip from New York from 30 September to 3 October 2025.

The ship will then head south for a winter season in the Caribbean, homeporting in Miami.

“Thanks to the progress made by our valued partners at Fincantieri, we are thrilled to bring Allura into service a week earlier than planned,” said Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises. “I’m excited to be able to present Allura on a one-time taster voyage to showcase the ship to aspirational travellers who are looking to sample an ultra-premium cruise experience, and even better, sailing from downtown Manhattan, the heart of New York City.”

Allura will be the eighth vessel to join Oceania Cruises’ fleet and the second Allura-class ship, following the debut of its sister ship Vista in May 2023.
