Holland America Line’s Oosterdam made her maiden call to Spain’s Port of Huelva on 15 April, calling with 1,751 passengers and 823 crew members.

Arriving from Portugal, Oosterdam docked at Huelva’s South Pier for just over nine hours. The passengers were welcomed by the Litore Lux entertainment group and then enjoyed organised excursions to Casa Colón, Doñana Park, the mines of Riotinto, Rutas Colombinas, Bodegas de Bollullos del Condado and Sevilla. Guests were also able to test local wines before embarking their ship and departing for Malaga, Spain.

The Port Authority of Huelva, City of Huelva and the Provincial Tourism Board of the Huelva Provincial Council all worked together to ensure the cruise visit was a success.
