P&O Cruises’ Pacific Pearl has entered drydock at the Royal Australian Navy’s base at Garden Island in Sydney, Australia.

When she emerges from the multimillion-dollar drydock on 15 August, the ship will feature the line’s new P&OEdge Adventure Park, which comprises more than 15 activities including a surfboard simulator, the bungee tramp, flying fox and ‘walk the plank’.

Pacific Pearl will also feature P&O’s second Pandora jewellery outlet, which was introduced on Pacific Jewel during her drydock earlier this year.

In addition, P&O will update the décor, furniture and carpets in the guest cabins and other public places, such as the Dome, spa, Waterfront restaurant, Mix bar, Connexions, and the Atrium and Luna restaurant. Meanwhile, the Plantation buffet will be redesigned and duelling pianos will be added to The Orient to turn the bar into an interactive music hub.
