Luxury river expedition operator Pandaw is to offer a new eight-day Brahmaputra River cruise onboard its 23-suite ship Mahabaahu in March 2015.

Offering guests the opportunity to visit the Assam region in the north-east of India, the itinerary departs Guwahati and includes calls at Silghat, Kaziranga National Parl, Bishwanath Ghat, Majuli, Neamati Ghat, Sibsagar, Neamati Ghat and Jorhat.

Guests will be able to will visit the largest river island in the world and meet the Mishing people that inhabit the region, travel by boat, jeep and elephant to see Indian wildlife – such as single-horned rhinos, buffaloes, Indian tigers and river dolphins – in the Kaziranga National Park. Other highlights include visits to temples, tribal villages, monasteries, ancient palaces and tea estates.

In addition to the cruise, Pandaw will offer pre- and post-stays in luxury five-star hotels in Delhi and Kol-kata, including domestic connecting flights.
