Paul Gauguin Cruises has entered into a new global collaboration with the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), which has been committed to saving wildlife worldwide since 1895.

Beginning in 2017, WCS will offer educational programming for adults and families onboard the Paul Gauguin. The series will comprise lectures about marine science and wildlife conservation in the South Pacific and beyond. Additionally during the summer months and holiday season, WCS will support the cruise line’s experiential family programme.

Also in 2017, Paul Gauguin Cruises is to offer new 16- and 17-night Fiji and Bali itineraries. Departing from Lautoka, Fiji on 29 April, Paul Gauguin’s 16-night Fiji to Bali voyage includes calls in Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu; Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands; Samarai Island, Papua New Guinea; Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea; Merauke, Indonesia; Dili, Timor-Leste; Komodo Island, Indonesia; Lembar, Lombok Island, Indonesia; and Benoa, Bali, Indonesia. The reverse 17-night itinerary from Bali to Fiji departs on 7 June.

Next year, the line’s ship Paul Gauguin will also sail seven-night Tahiti & the Society Islands itinerary; a seven-night Tahiti, the Society Islands & Tuamotus voyage; a ten-night Society Islands & Tuamotus cruise; an 11-night Cook Islands & Society Islands itinerary; and 14-night Marquesas, Tuamotus & Society Islands voyage.

The line’s popular 12- and 13-night Society Islands, Cook Islands, Tonga & Fiji itineraries will also be available. These include visits to Polynesia and complimentary access to Paul Gauguin Cruises’ two exclusive retreats – Motu Mahana, an islet off the coast of Taha’a, and a private beach in Bora Bora. At Motu Mahana, guests can enjoy a day of watersports, Polynesian activities, a barbecue and cocktails from full-service and floating bars. Meanwhile in Bora Bora they can visit a white-sand beach and enjoy refreshments, a game of volleyball and snorkelling.

In July 2017, the line will offer its third Reunion Cruise, which features an exclusive ten-night Cook Islands & Society Islands itinerary with two visits to the line’s private island paradise of Motu Mahana. Designed as a reunion for past guests and as a gala welcome for newcomers, the cruise will feature a festive dinner, cocktail and block parties, opportunities to meet senior staff and crew, and more.
