Baie-Comeau also expects to host an additional seven cruise calls and a total of 8,800 passengers and crew members this year, a 13% increase from 2015. Most of these visits will take place in autumn.

Also for the first time in its history, the Canadian port will host two ships in one day - Pearl Mist and Seabourn Cruise Line's Seabourn Quest on 15 September. A total of 1,046 passengers and crew are expected to arrive on the vessels.
