Penhaligon’s joins with Cunard

Cunard Line has partnered with British perfumer Penhaligon’s to offer guests luxury toiletries onboard Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria in 2014.

Penhaligon’s, which holds two Royal Warrants, will initially supply its Quercus body lotion, shower gel, soap, shampoo and conditioner to Queen Elizabeth and then roll out the products to Queen Victoria and Queen Mary in the summer. In response to passenger testing, shower gel and shampoo will be supplied in larger sizes, while body lotion and conditioner will be in smaller bottles. All products will be replenished as required.

Passengers travelling in Grills accommodation will be offered an enhanced range of products, while those in the top grade suites will have access to the Scent Library, which showcases ten samples from across the Penhaligon’s fragrance spectrum.

“With its intriguing mix of tradition and modernity, the classic and the quirky, Penhaligon’s products perfectly suit the distinctly British feel of our three ships,” said Angus Sturther, Cunard’s marketing director. “We are very happy to be working with Penhaligon’s, which like Cunard has a distinguished history and long association with the Royal family.”
