P&O Cruises is to offer three ‘World Journeys’ onboard Aurora, Arcadia and Oriana in 2016. Collectively, the ships will sail more than 90,000 nautical miles and visit 90 ports in 58 countries in January 2016. All three ships will overnight in some of the world’s major cities, giving passengers the opportunity to spend two days onshore, while longer evening port stays have been built into itineraries.
Aurora’s 114-night ‘World Circumnavigation’ visits 38 ports in 24 countries, including Sydney and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia; Cape Town and Table Mountain in South Africa; Hong Kong; and Pearl Harbour in Hawaii. Sailing roundtrip from Southampton, UK, the ship will also make maiden calls at The Gambia, Philippines, Taiwan, Lahaina in Hawaii, Malaysia and the Seychelles.
Departing from Southampton, Arcadia’s 115-night ‘South America & Japan Adventure’ visits 32 ports in 19 countries. This includes calls at cities such as Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Beijing, China; San Francisco, US; Easter Island; Panama Canal and the Great Wall of China. Maiden calls are Papua New Guinea, Hilo in Hawaii, South Korea, Cape Verde, Falkland Islands and Tauranga in New Zealand.
Meanwhile Oriana’s 50-night ‘Caribbean & American Adventure’ itinerary includes calls at 20 ports in 15 countries, featuring US ports such as New Orleans, Charleston, Key West and Miami with a maiden call at Progreso, Mexico.
