Porto Santo Line has implemented an integrated maritime reservation and check-in system from Carus onboard its ferry, which operates between the Portuguese islands of Madeira and Porto Santo in the North Atlantic Ocean.

The operator can use CarRes to manage online and agent bookings for both passengers and freight customers, as well as vehicle check-in.

“We chose the CarRes solution by Carus because we were certain that it would meet the high quality standards that Porto Santo Line strives to achieve every day on a line that is characterised not only by tourism, but also as a public service for our residents,” said Rui Gouveia, general manager of Porto Santo Line.

Porto Santo Line can also use CarRes to manage the joint packages it offers in partnership with Torre Praia Hotels, Praia Dourada and Luamar Aparthotel.

”All the users are very happy with how quick and easy it is to make bookings and sell tickets,” said Manuel Cardoso, business intelligence executive at Porto Santo Line.
