Princess Cruises has opened a new family water playground on the top deck of Caribbean Princess.

Named The Reef Family Splash Zone, the playground includes a multi-generational game zone with oversized activities and Winnie the Whale’s splashpad, which comprises a splash pool, water sprays and showers. The family pool, whirlpool and bar area has also been refurbished, and there’s a new outdoor lounge area featuring sectional chairs, sofas with tables, new fixtures, finishes and canopies.

“The Reef Family Splash Zone forms part of our ongoing commitment to offer families a fun and relaxing onboard holiday,” said Tony Roberts, vice president for UK and Europe at Princess Cruises. “Caribbean Princess now has a wealth of features designed to appeal to guests of all ages, perfectly complementing the stunning destinations the ship sails to.”

Young guests can also use a new destination-themed water table in Camp Discovery’s outdoor area, which is located directly below The Reef Family Splash Zone. The table features the many locations and landmarks that Princess during cruises, such as Sydney Opera House, and also allows children to explore how a cruise ship moves through water in different sea and weather conditions.
