Princess Cruises is to name its fifth Royal-Class ship Enchanted Princess when she debuts on 15 June 2020 with a series of European voyages.

To be built by Fincantieri at its yard in Monfalcone, Italy, the 143,700gt Enchanted Princess will be a sister to Royal Princess, Regal Princess, Majestic Princess and Sky Princess (joining the fleet in October 2019). However, the design platform used for the new 3,660-guest Enchanted Princess will mark an evolution from the one used for her sisters.

“The name Enchanted Princess is captivating and conveys the elegance and grace of our new ship which will introduce more travellers to the pleasures and value of cruising,” said Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises. “We are certain Enchanted Princess will exceed the expectations of our guests, ensuring they have the most memorable cruise.”

Princess Cruises will also launch sixth Royal-Class ship in 2021 and two LNG-powered vessels – one in late 2023 and the other in spring 2025.
