Princess Cruises is to sail its first-ever roundtrip from the UK to Canada and New England in September 2019.
Setting sail from the UK on 14 September, the 2,670-guest Sapphire Princess will spend 24 days sailing to ports including St. John’s, Newfoundland; Sydney and Halifax, Nova Scotia; Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island; Saint John, New Brunswick; New York (overnight call), US; Newport, Boston; and Rockland, Maine.
Since it first went on sale in December 2017, the new itinerary has become the line’s best-selling voyage of 2019, attracting four times as many guests as the next highest seller.
“Our Canada and New England sailing has proved a hit with agents and we're delighted with the support we’ve received,” said Tony Roberts, Princess Cruises’ vice president UK and Europe. “We’ve had great feedback from the trade on both the opportunity to travel across the Atlantic with Princess as well as the specific destinations Sapphire Princess will visit.”
