Spain-based cruise operator Pullmantur Cruises is to offer two cruises to Iceland and the Faroe Islands in summer 2020.
Available on Zenith, the both of the eight-day cruises will take place in July and include calls in destinations such as Trondheim, Norway; Tórshavn, Faroe Islands; and Seydisfjordur and Isafjordur in Iceland.
Excursions highlights will include visits to Iceland’s eastern fjords and Hengifoss waterfall; a flight over the Diamond Ring in Akureyri; and the chance to see Reykjavik’s Golden Circle, which comprises the Gullfoss, Geysir and Thingvellir waterfalls.
“Adding Iceland to our offer is part of our wish to continue evolving in order to give our passengers spectacular new and unforgettable alternatives, by visiting incredible places without renouncing to the Spanish lifestyle,” said Richard Vogel, president and CEO of Pullmantur Cruises. ”We wanted to emphasise the onboard experience, the intensity we sail with, and our different proposals to suit the needs and tastes of all types of travellers.”
Pullmantur Cruises will also return to Israel in November 2020, this time with a new ‘Israel, Egypt, Greece and Turkey: Magic Orient’ itinerary. Guests will be able to board Horizon for a 12-day voyage that includes visits to Ashdod, Haifa, Nazareth and Galilee in Israel; Port Said and Alexandria in Egypt; Marmaris and Bodrum, Turkey; Limassol, Cyprus; and Santorini and Athens, Greece.
Other new options for 2020 will include routes around the Mediterranean Sea to destinations such as Malta, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Morocco.
