Cunard Line’s Queen Mary 2 is to make her maiden call at Escale Gaspésie during her 2016 St. Lawrence itinerary in Canada in 2016.

The 2,620-passenger ship will call at Gaspé on 7 October, a day after making an inaugural visit to Saguenay. She will also take passengers to Québec City.

“A confirmation of the prestigious Queen Mary 2’s visit is truly an honour for the region,” said Stéphane Sainte-Croix, Escale Gaspésie’s director. “It is also a major vote of confidence from the industry for our organisation and for the port of call. We will make sure we meet Cunard’s needs and expectations in order to make this stopover a successful one.”
