John Portelli has become the new general manager of Roma Cruise Terminal (RCT), which operates the cruise terminals in Italy’s port of Civitavecchia.
Replacing Mauro Patuzzi, who is now RCT’s operations director, Portelli began his new role on 1 September 2014. Portelli previously served as the CEO of Valletta Cruise Port.
RCT is equally owned by Costa Cruises, Marinvest and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. It is expected to handle 2.5 million passengers in 2014.
